The role
As a Country Lead Zeekr Hungary, you will oversee the full P&L and strategic direction of the Hungarian market, ensuring long-term profitability by managing high-level stakeholder relationships and optimizing sales and service operations. You will lead your local team to drive sustainable growth across B2B and retail channels while maintaining a high standard of customer experience and operational efficiency. By bridging the gap between local market needs and central corporate strategy, you are the owner of Zeekr’s performance and commercial success in Hungary.

This is what you will do:

Understanding Market and Customers

• Develop a deep understanding of the Hungarian automotive market, including EV adoption trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.

• Build and optimise the end-to-end customer experience across all touchpoints, adapted to local customer expectations.

• Lead strategic planning to grow market share and establish a strong premium EV brand position in Hungary.

• Define business targets and strategies for market entry and sustainable growth in Hungary.

• Develop clear action plans and milestones, leading end-to-end market launch and commercial operations.

• Drive network development, including dealer and service partner setup, performance management, and expansion.

• Oversee local marketing strategy and execution to build brand awareness and demand.

• Lead the business with full P&L ownership, ensuring delivery of results with quality, speed, and efficiency.

• Build and develop the Hungary team with clear goals, roles, and accountability.

• Lead workforce planning and hiring in line with market entry and growth phases.

• Foster a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture aligned with Zeekr values.

• Establish and optimise local business processes, systems, and operational infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with Hungarian safety, environmental, tax, and labor regulations, as well as internal standards.
  

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• 8+ years of experience in the Hungarian automotive industry

• Strong EV and premium brand background

• Proven network and relationships with dealers, distributors, and service partners in Hungary and the CEE region

• Experience with market entry, scale-up, or importer/distributor models in Hungary is a strong advantage

• BSc degree in Business or related field required

• International working experience and strong multicultural adaptability

• Strong project management and execution skills

• Fluency in Hungarian and English
