About the Role

We are looking for a driven and analytical Commercial Finance Intern with a strong interest in business performance and data-driven decision-making to join our European Finance team.

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in how financial planning, forecasting, and reporting support business growth within a fast-growing, international EV company. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and cross-functional teams to contribute to performance analysis and support key financial processes across European markets.

Mission for the internship:

• Support financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end processes.

• Assist in maintaining and updating financial models, including P&L forecasts and tracking tools.

• Prepare recurring reports to support internal performance monitoring and management decision-making.

• Contribute to the analysis of business performance across markets and channels.

• Support campaign and commercial planning processes with financial inputs and templates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, models, or processes.

• Take initiative in supporting or developing a small improvement project based on business needs.

What you will learn

• Gain hands-on experience in financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting within a commercial finance environment.

• Understand how financial data is translated into insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Develop practical skills in financial modeling, including working with P&L structures and forecasting tools.

• Learn how Finance Business Partners collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operations teams.

• Strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving skills through real business performance analysis.

• Build proficiency in Excel and gain exposure to financial reporting and data visualization tools.

• Develop communication and stakeholder management skills in an international setting.

Key educational requirement:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a structured approach to problem-solving.

• Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of Power BI or other data tools is a plus).

• Basic understanding of financial statements, particularly Profit & Loss (P&L).

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with multiple stakeholders.
