The role
The Sales Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing forecasting, vehicle allocation, order management, and national logistics operations. Acting as a key link between local market teams and European headquarters, this role ensures seamless coordination across sales operations, logistics, retail support, and product planning. The position plays a critical role in delivering operational excellence by ensuring the right vehicles are available at the right time and in the right location while supporting sustainable business growth and an exceptional customer experience. The role in operating in a context of Nordic collaboration.
This is what you will do:
1. Sales Operations & Order Management
• Lead volume planning, sales forecasting, and order management activities to support market demand and business objectives.
• Manage vehicle allocation, VIN matching, VIN reallocation, and internal fleet administration in close collaboration with central sales operations teams.
• Monitor order pipelines and proactively address potential risks to ensure timely delivery performance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Volume and order planning in quarterly campaign process.
2. Logistics Management & Coordination
• Oversee national logistics operations and support market activities in collaboration with central logistics teams.
• Ensure execution of the “right car, right time, right location” approach to maximize vehicle availability and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate transportation, storage, and delivery activities while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency.
• Identify and resolve logistics challenges through proactive planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support retail operations through vehicle registration management, sales funnel monitoring, KPI tracking, and operational reporting.
3. Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for communication regarding vehicle orders, deliveries, and operational updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and key business partners.
• Act as a trusted liaison between local market teams and European headquarters to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth execution of processes.
• Facilitate effective communication across internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related operational function.
• Experience within the automotive industry or a closely related sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and project management capabilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across international and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in reporting, forecasting, KPI management, and operational performance monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local market language.
