The role
As Technical Training Manager within Zeekr MSS and Geely Auto, you are responsible for the strategic development, coordination, planning, execution and quality assurance of all technical and soft skilled Service trainings in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
This role acts as a key interface between Zeekr and Geely NSCs representatives and Importers from Aftersales and Training, external training agencies, internal training providers from China and other connected suppliers, ensuring the suitable scoping, technical depth are achieved and delivered.
This is what you will do:
Develop and lead the technical training strategy:
Scope a training curriculum for aftersales personnel in dealerships consisting of onboarding, online and in-person trainings.
Lead the planning and execution of training programs for all European markets and models in cooperation with external training agencies and facilities.
Decide on execution of training related tasks at 3rd party training agencies or internally within MSS.
Plan the execution of instructor led trainings
Plan training with representatives of National Sales Companies and Importers.
Ensure training vehicles and facilities availability.
Ensure and coordinate training agencies availability for the agreed times and locations.
Build and maintain the Zeekr LMS system in corporation with other stakeholders
Develop the LMS further in accordance with the Zeekr and Geely needs, also to enable traceability for instructor led trainings.
Ensure all aftersales personnel is enrolled into the LMS and that training programs are shaped and made available.
Develop certifications and traceability through trainings.
Develop a reporting system enabling visibility to training progress to NSCs and importers, track KPI’s and dealer readiness.
Ensure of readiness of trainings of new vehicles and variants at Start of Operation
Coordinate the retrieval of relevant information from the Chinese headquarters, in cooperation with external training agencies.
Ensure training documentation is available in time in cooperation with external training facilities.
Evaluate the right approach between instructor led training and online content.
Develop a training curriculum for Service Advisors
Evaluate training needs in cooperation with NSCs.
Evaluate the right approach between instructor led training and online content.
Scope curriculum for Service Advisors, Parts, Accessories and Warranty which includes soft skills areas.
Ensure training documentation is available in cooperation with eternal training facilities.
Develop training for external body repair personnel
Evaluate training needs in cooperation with MSS and NSCs.
Evaluate the right approach between instructor led training and online content.
Scope curriculum for Service Advisors.
Ensure training documentation is available in cooperation with eternal training facilities.
Develop training for Road Side Assistance personnel
Ensure online training is available to all Road Side Assistance personnel and trainers.
Evaluate need to have instructor led training for RSA providers and develop content.
Manage training budget
Plan and control the annual budget for technical and soft-skills training.
Evaluate need to have instructor led training for RSA providers and develop content.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
Solid understanding of electrical safety principles, aligned with international or regional standards (e.g., IEC, EN, or local regulations), HV Level 2 certified.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and service documentation.
5–7 years of experience in automotive training and content creation, ideally within OEM aftersales or EV environments in an international setup.
Strong expertise in designing technica12l trainings for mechanics and front of house personnel, with the ability to identify gaps and develop effective learning solutions.
Solid understanding of EV technologies and aftersales operations, with knowledge of battery systems and charging infrastructure as an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English (native or near-native preferred), with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging training content.
Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and quality while thriving in fast paced dynamic environments with evolving priorities and aggressive timelines.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, able to work across functions, regions, and external partners in a matrix environment.
