IT Business Partner - Customer Care

The role
We are looking for an IT Business Partner - Aftersales to support and drive digital solutions across our EU Aftersales organization. The role covers Service, Parts, Warranty, and Customer Support domains, acting as the primary IT interface for Aftersales leadership. Based in the EU Hub, this role works closely with regional and local teams to align business strategy, IT roadmap, and value delivery across multiple European markets.
This is what you will do:
1. Strategic IT Business Partner for After Sales
• Act as the overall IT Business Partner for After Sales operations in the EU Hub, covering:
- Service operations (repair, maintenance, workshops, service network)
-Parts & accessories management (planning, logistics, distribution)
-Warranty and claims management o Customer support and service experience
• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for After Sales leadership on all IT-related topics.
2. Partner with After Sales Leadership
Work closely with After Sales, Parts, and Service leadership to:
• Understand business strategy, growth priorities, customer experience objectives, and operational pain points.
• Translate business needs into a clear IT demand, capability roadmap, and investment plan.
• Ensure alignment between After Sales strategy, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Own and continuously maintain the After Sales IT roadmap, aligned with enterprise priorities and budget constraints.
• Provide input to IT investment planning, budget prioritization, and value tracking for After Sales initiatives.
3. End-to-End Requirements Management
• Own end-to-end requirement management for After Sales, Parts & Service domains.
• Shape, validate, and prioritize business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure clarity and quality of requirements, including:
-Business objectives and expected outcomes
-Scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints
-Success metrics and KPIs
4. Change Management & Business Adoption
• Lead business-side change management for After Sales IT initiatives.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across:
-After Sales, Parts & Service teams
-IT and other enabling functions
-EU Hub and National Sales Companies (NSCs)
• Ensure business readiness, including:
-Process design and alignment
-Data readiness and governance
-Capability building and training
• Track adoption, benefits realization, and value delivery post go-live.
5. Project & Program Accountability
• Act as Business Owner and Accountable Sponsor for After Sales, Parts & Service IT projects and programs.
• Ensure initiatives are:
-Clearly scoped with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
-Prioritized and sequenced in line with the After Sales IT roadmap
• Work closely with Project and Program Managers to:
-Define delivery approach, milestones, and critical path
-Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
-Prepare and support tollgates, steering committees, and portfolio reviews
• Ensure transparent communication of status, risks, impacts, and decisions to business and IT stakeholders.
• Support go-live readiness, post-implementation reviews, and value realization tracking.
6. Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration
• Coordinate with Solution Architects and Product Teams (DDC and/or external suppliers) to:
-Ensure solution design meets After Sales, Parts & Service business needs
-Align product and solution roadmaps
• Collaborate with Project and Program Managers on planning, execution, milestones, and governance.
7. Architecture, Security & Governance
• Ensure After Sales IT solutions:
-Meet business requirements and agreed success metrics
-Comply with enterprise architecture standards
-Adhere to security, compliance, data privacy, and data governance requirement
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, preferably with additional coursework or a minor in Business Administration.
Experience:
Strong understanding of After Sales, Parts & Service operations.
Proven experience as an IT Business Partner, Business Analyst, or IT Product Owner.
Experience with large-scale IT programs and cross-country rollouts.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Business outcome–driven mindset with focus on value realization.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
Fluent in English; additional European languages or Mandarin Chinese a plus.
