The role
As a Revenue and Cost Accountant, you will be involved in the daily revenue and cost booking as well as the month-end closing processes for various entities in the European market. We are seeking an experienced Revenue and Cost Accountant to support and be responsible for establishing daily booking rules for revenue and costs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in accounting, and assisting in the provision of revenue and cost data. Furthermore, this role will also involve optimizing revenue and cost-related processes and systems. You will maintain close communication with roles such as Reporting, Tax, Financial Business Partner (BP), Group Finance, and Auditors to ensure accounting principles and compliance are upheld.

This is what you will do:

• Ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost and stock recognition and booking in accordance with accounting principles.

• Collaborate and working along finance Business partners to determine appropriate revenue，cost，stock treatment.

• Prepare monthly revenue, cost, stock reports and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Manage financial data into SAP and HFM in a timely manner.

• Assist and provide support in Audit.

• Perform AP and AR aging analysis monthly to aid the management reporting.

• Creating and maintaining documentation on processes and procedures related to accounting workflows and maintaining source documentation.

• Participating in other Ad hoc projects, analysis and assignments as needed to support the goals of the Finance and Accounting department.

• Ensure an accurate month-end closing.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, revenue recognition, and/or cost accounting, preferably in the automotive, manufacturing, or related industries.

• Good knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.

• Experience on SAP and HFM is a plus.

• Accurate, analytical and a real team player with multitasking talent; jump from one task to another and enjoy doing so.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advance level).

• Open minded and eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
