The role
Your role will be to conduct research and continuously benchmark potential suppliers, vendors, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities. You will work towards a commodity-based structure and take full commodity responsibility, which will have a significant impact on the company’s success.

This is what you will do:

• You will be part of procurement team focusing on business operations and market operations area, and you will actively work on awarding and setting up contracts and agreements.

• Own the achievement of overall procurement KPIs within your area of scope, to establish, negotiate, and maintain commercial contracts with terms that are in the company’s best interest.

• Work cross-functionally with other purchasing organizations within Geely Group

• You will be leading sourcing activities, including RFI/RFP/RFQ and price negotiation as well as compliance management. Ensure that the tendering process is executed in a fully compliant and closed-loop manner.

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans, Continuously identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization with our internal customers from business operation and market operation

• Lead supplier management within operations area, including identifying high-quality supplier resources, conducting supplier onboarding assessments, evaluating supplier performance, and developing strategic supplier plans.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Experience as an indirect buyer for a dynamic and growing organization for at least 5 years. Operations Procurement experience is required.

• A track record of consistently delivering successful spend, optimizing investments, and cultivate genuine relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Negotiation skills when establishing contracts for long-lasting partnerships with agencies, and suppliers, allowing for mutually beneficial collaborations.

• Experience in analyzing data to extract valuable insights, setting strategic direction, and aligning purchasing strategies with business objectives.

• Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams to make effective execution.

• Attention to detail in spend management, optimizing costs, financial analysis, and investment forecasts.

• University degree in Procurement, International Relations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar

• Automotive knowledge and experience within SAP is a bonus.

• Fluent in business level English.
