Role Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Lead for Europe, you will be the driving force behind our regional hiring strategy. You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of recruiters while partnering closely with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs. You will not only oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle but also continuously optimize our processes, elevate our employer brand, and ensure a world-class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop our high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.
Hiring Strategy: Refine our talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company’s broader business goals and growth targets in Europe.
Workforce Planning: Partner with department heads and the executive team to forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs, ensuring budget and headcount alignment.
Employer Branding: Champion the company’s employer brand in the market. Collaborate with internal teams to build engaging recruitment campaigns and maintain a strong presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor etc.
Process Excellence & ATS Management: Continuously map and improve the recruitment process to reduce time-to-hire, improve cost-per-hire, and elevate the quality of hire. Ensure data integrity, compliance (e.g., GDPR), and maximum utilization of automation features.
Executive Recruiting: Act as the primary recruiter for critical, senior level (Director/VP), or highly specialized roles.
Stakeholder Advising: Train and coach hiring managers on best-in-class interviewing techniques, talent market realities, and compensation benchmarking.
Vendor Management: Partner with Procurement teams to manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring high ROI and compliance.
Reporting: Build and present regular recruitment reports to senior stakeholders, tracking metrics such as staffing plan fulfilment, conversion rates, offer acceptance rates, and source of hire.
Market insights: Proactively leverage market data to provide proactive insights that will help drive both business and hiring decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Extensive experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or people management role.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record of scaling teams in a fast-paced environment (e.g. Automotive, Scale-up).
Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, AI sourcing tools).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate complex recruitment data into actionable insights and strategic narratives for business leaders.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
Compliance: Strong understanding of local employment laws and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Fluent in business-level English. Fluency in Chinese is beneficial, but not mandatory.
