The role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Finished Vehicle Logistics team. Based at our European headquarters in Amsterdam, you will play a vital role in building, scaling, and developing logistics operations across all our European markets. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
This is what you will do:
Coordinate the logistics operations for the delivery of finished vehicles across Europe, ensuring timely and efficient transportation to markets.
Work closely with sales, after-sales, and supply chain teams to align logistics plans with business objectives and market demands.
Oversee and manage relationships with logistics service providers and ensure compliance with contractual terms, invoicing and freight audit, and service standards.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvement measures to enhance service delivery and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance logistics tools and systems, supporting seamless data flow and operational transparency.
Resolve any logistical issues that arise in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Support the development of logistics capabilities and capacity to meet future business growth and market expansion plans.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across diverse teams.
Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
