Regional Business Manager - Importer Markets

The role
We are looking for a Regional Business Manager to steer 2–3 importer markets. You will be the main contact person for our importers and responsible for delivering both volume and profit through a balanced, data-driven approach.
You combine strategic discussion with senior partners with the ability to deep dive into details (forecast files, VIN-level data, invoices, logistics) and translate insights into concrete action plans.
This is what you will do:
Commercial & P&L steering
Own delivery of wholesale and retail volume and profitability targets for your markets.
Develop, agree and follow up monthly sales and ordering targets by model/version and channel.
Build robust 12-month forecasts; track deviations and drive corrective actions with importers.
Importer relationship & governance
Act as primary interface between Zeekr and the importer management team.
Lead regular business reviews: action plans, budget alignment, commercial conditions, risk/opportunity assessment.
Ensure importer action plans are aligned with HQ strategy and approved at central level when needed.
Carflow & stock management
Secure “right car, right place, right time” via ordering, production and wholesale planning.
Monitor pipeline (factory–inbound–dealer), ageing stock, and take proactive actions to optimize the carflow.
Retail & funnel performance (Private)
Monitor performance by model and sub-region (market coverage, share, mix, pricing).
Oversee health of the purchase funnel: leads, test drives, offers and orders.
Coordinate marketing actions with HQ to ensure campaigns translate into qualified leads and orders.
Fleet, leasing & RV
Support and challenge importers on fleet strategy and framework agreements with leasing companies and key accounts.
Ensure leasing competitiveness (TCO, RVs, discounts) and follow up on Key Account Manager performance and account conquest.
Aftersales & customer experience
Align with importers on aftersales strategy and capacity to ensure a strong Zeekr customer experience.
Coordinate with Importer and HQ the optimum flow and stock of parts and accessories.
Network & market coverage
Support network development plans to ensure the right dealers and points of service, aligned with brand standards and customer journey expectations.
Track performance by sub-region and secure sufficient coverage to deliver targets.
Analysis & operations
Analyse market data and importer reporting to identify gaps and opportunities.
Deep dive when needed to VIN level (invoices, delivery times, logistics, discounts) to solve structural issues, not just symptoms.
Maintain a clear action tracker per market and follow up execution with importers and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
12+ years’ experience in automotive sales/commercial/business development, ideally with Importers or big Dealers in Europe.
Strong understanding of wholesale, retail and fleet/leasing channels, including framework agreements and RV logic.
Proven track record in delivering volume and profit targets through data-driven planning and execution.
Comfortable switching between senior strategic discussions and very operational tasks (Excel modelling, system checks, VIN-level analysis).
Excellent stakeholder management skills: able to challenge and support importers, internal HQ functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Aftersales) and external partners.
Advanced Excel and solid analytical skills.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
