The role
The Strategy Lead will be responsible for defining and driving key strategic initiatives across Zeekr Europe, ensuring alignment between HQ (China) and European markets (e.g., Sweden, Netherlands, Germany). This role is highly cross-functional, requiring a blend of deep analytical capability, operational insight, and executive-level communication to manage complex projects and competitive challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Market Strategy: Lead the development of Zeekr Europe’s long-term business strategy, including market entry sequencing, product portfolio prioritization, and core value proposition refinement for key segments (e.g., fleet vs. retail).

• Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the European competitive landscape, focusing on pricing, distribution models (Agency vs. DTC), technology gaps, and regulatory changes (e.g., GSR, data compliance) to identify strategic opportunities and risks.

• Performance Insight: Work closely with Finance and Operations to define, track, and interpret key strategic KPIs, using data to inform decisions on cost optimization, operational efficiency, and investment allocation.

• HQ Alignment: Act as the central interface between the European management team and HQ teams (R&D, Product, and Technology) to ensure European market requirements and strategic needs are embedded into the global product and platform roadmaps.

• Leadership: Lead a small HQ based strategy team.

• Business Planning: Define market strategies and long-term business planning

• Competitor Analysis: Competitive Analysis and market Intelligence

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in management consulting (at a top-tier firm) or in a strategic planning/corporate development role within a multinational Automotive OEM, Tier 1 Supplier, or an E-mobility company.

• Expert knowledge of the European automotive industry, including the competitive dynamics, regulatory landscape, and ongoing shift to EVs and digital retail models.

• Proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous business problems, perform rigorous analysis, and develop clear, actionable recommendations for executive leadership.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

  Fluency or professional working proficiency in another key European language (e.g., German, Swedish, Dutch).

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA preferred), Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
