The role
As a Category Buyer – Professional & Operations Services, you’ll play a key role in driving procurement strategy across our business operations and market operations domains. Your focus will be on sourcing and managing high-impact suppliers, negotiating strategic contracts, and delivering cost and performance efficiencies.

With full commodity ownership, you’ll continuously benchmark industry trends and supplier capabilities to ensure that purchasing decisions are data-driven, agile, and aligned with our long-term goals. Your contribution will directly influence the company’s operational excellence and growth trajectory.

This is what you will do:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities in the business and market operations space, from sourcing and tendering to contract finalization and supplier management.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans to optimize value, cost, and performance.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, negotiations, and compliance assurance, ensuring every tender is handled with transparency and accountability.
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships: onboarding, performance evaluations, strategic planning, and ongoing relationship management.
• Identify new supplier opportunities and continuously benchmark the market to maintain a sharp and competitive procurement approach.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Zeekr and the broader Geely Group to ensure aligned and integrated procurement efforts.
• Achieve and exceed procurement KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, and compliance in your category.

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, specifically in operational procurement (business or market operations).
• A proven ability to manage and optimize supplier spend while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience in setting up contracts that deliver long-term strategic value.
• Data-driven decision-making skills and a strategic mindset to align procurement with business goals.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving and execution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Relations, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and knowledge of the automotive industry are a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a bonus.
• Resilient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, change-driven environment.
