The role

We are seeking a PR Lead to oversee and elevate our earned media performance across Europe. This is a regional steering role responsible for defining, guiding, and ensuring consistent implementation of the company’s PR strategy across all European markets. You will act as the central link between HQ, local PR managers, and agency partners — driving alignment, ensuring excellence in execution, and maximizing the impact of both corporate, brand and product PR initiatives.

This is what you will do:

• Pan-European PR Strategy: Develop and implement a unified 360° earned media strategy that aligns with corporate, brand and product objectives. Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all European markets.
• Regional Steering & Support: Lead and support local PR managers and agencies, providing strategic direction, best practices, and content frameworks to deliver outstanding earned media results across the region.
• Cross-Market Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between HQ (Tech, Design, and Communications teams) and local markets to ensure seamless alignment and execution of PR activities.
• Media Relations Leadership: Build and maintain relationships with key pan-European Tier 1 media across automotive, business, and general/lifestyle sectors. Lead high-level media engagement initiatives and support markets in elevating their media outreach.
• Content & Messaging Governance: Oversee the development of high-quality press materials, key messaging, and corporate narratives to ensure consistency and impact across all earned channels.
• Event Strategy Oversight: Define and coordinate the European media events calendar, ensuring market activations align with regional strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Performance & Insights: Monitor PR performance across markets using analytics tools. Consolidate insights, measure earned impact, and refine the regional strategy to drive continuous improvement.
• Crisis & Reputation Management: Lead regional preparedness and response planning for sensitive issues, ensuring unified communication and brand protection across Europe.
• Budget & Agency Management: Manage regional PR budgets and agency partnerships efficiently, ensuring resources are aligned to strategic priorities.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 8+ years of PR experience, ideally within the automotive or technology sectors
• Proven experience in a regional or multi-market communications leadership role
• Strong background in media relations, messaging strategy, and earned content development
• Skilled in stakeholder management, coaching, and agency oversight
• Data-driven mindset with experience using PR analytics and measurement tools
• Exceptional communicator, culturally fluent, and adept at working across diverse European markets
