The role

As Accountant, you’ll help shape and streamline our finance operations in a fast-moving, international automotive environment. Your work will directly drive the accuracy, trust, and scalability of our financial reporting as we accelerate our growth from our Amsterdam HQ

This is what you will do:

• Manage the month-end closing procedures and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle revenue recognition, accounts receivable procedures and assets procedures.
• Assist in preparing the financial statements under IFRS and NL GAAP.
• Assist Head of Accounting during audit engagement of external auditors.
• Optimizing processes and financial controls.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• 3–5 years of account experience. Big 4 audit or advisory experience (preferably with clients in automotive, manufacturing, or tech) is a nice-to-have. 
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including solid understanding of IFRS, NL GAAP, and IFRS 15 for revenue recognition.
• ERP system proficiency, preferably with SAP S/4HANA, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes
• Proactive and hands-on mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), and confident in dealing with external auditors and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with proven experience in month-end close, accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation.
• A university degree and or postmaster degree in Accounting.
