IT Business Partner - Customer Care

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced IT Business Partner to work with our Customer Care organization to build tools and technology that will enable them to best serve our customers and business partners.
This is what you will do:
- Collaborate with After-Sales Customer Service and Spare Parts teams to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into IT solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights on how technology can improve spare parts management and customer service processes.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and tools for spare parts inventory management, order processing, and customer service operations.
- Ensure seamless integration of IT solutions with existing systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, DMS).
- Drive the adoption of digital tools such as predictive analytics, AI, and IoT to optimize spare parts availability and delivery.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and streamline spare parts logistics and customer service workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to spare parts availability, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure IT systems evolve with changing business needs.
- Manage IT projects related to spare parts and customer service, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT solutions.
- Application Performance & Support: Monitor application performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve incidents, problems, and service requests related to applications.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in using applications.
- Gather user feedback and work with stakeholders to prioritize application enhancements.
- Promote the adoption of new features and functionalities to maximize application value.
- Work with the IT security team to implement robust security measures and conduct regular audits.
- Manage access controls and user permissions for applications.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT business partnering and application management, preferably in the automotive industry or a customer service/customer care business function.
- Proven experience in spare parts management, after-sales customer service, or supply chain IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM platforms.
- Experience with digital transformation projects and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, predictive analytics).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management expertise with a track record of delivering IT solutions on time and within budget.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
