Mission for the Internship :

• Support the Procurement team’s day-to-day operations, including vendor coordination, document management, and internal communication to ensure seamless execution of procurement tasks.
• Assist with smaller procurement projects, including the creation and management of Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
• Conduct compliance checks within the procurement department, helping ensure alignment with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives, contributing to supplier evaluations, market research, and cost-saving analyses.
• Engage in data analysis to support procurement reporting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
• Proactively identify and propose opportunities for automation and operational efficiency, supporting continuous improvement within the team.
• Gain firsthand experience in supplier negotiations and reviewing commercial clauses in contracts, with opportunities to observe and contribute to real-world procurement scenarios.
• Work cross-functionally in a diverse, international, and fast-paced environment, building key business and communication skills.

Learning Opportunities:

• Learn how to effectively negotiate with suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and understand key levers in contract negotiations.
• Develop a strong understanding of procurement compliance, ethical sourcing principles, and internal governance.
• Gain hands-on experience with creating and managing Purchase Orders, as well as working with internal stakeholders across departments.
• Acquire data skills by retrieving, analyzing, and interpreting procurement-related data, contributing to better-informed decisions.

Key educational requirements for the candidate:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in data, strategy, and operational efficiency within the procurement function.
• Comfortable working with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms (experience is a plus).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other language skills are a plus.
• Available for approximately 32 hours per week, for a duration of 6 months.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
