The role

We are seeking an experienced Remarketing Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies and managing vehicle remarketing processes. This role is crucial in enhancing our competitive position in the market and maximizing the residual value of our vehicles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our competitive positioning and financial performance through strategic TCO and remarketing initiatives.

This is what you will do:

1. TCO Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement TCO strategies for our vehicle lineup.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to optimize our TCO positioning.

2. Residual Value Management:

• Forecast and manage residual values for leasing and fleet programs.
• Work with finance teams to optimize leasing and financing offers.
• Monitor and report on residual value performance.

3. Used Car Management:

• Manage the P&L for the used car fleet, including internal cars, ex-demos, and ex-lease vehicles.
• Coordinate with markets to determine optimal timing and pricing for used car sales. 
• Identify and implement appropriate used car platforms to maximize sales and profitability.
• Develop strategies to minimize holding costs and optimize inventory turnover.
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness in the used car market.

4. Remarketing Program Management: 

• Develop and oversee remarketing strategies for off-lease and fleet vehicles. 
• Manage relationships with auction houses, dealers, and other remarketing channels.
• Optimize remarketing processes to maximize vehicle resale values.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting: 

• Conduct in-depth analysis of TCO components and remarketing performance. 
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on TCO and remarketing metrics.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in TCO and remarketing strategies.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Strong experience in automotive finance, leasing, or remarketing.
  Experience in used car management and familiarity with used car market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and forecasting.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive market trends and residual value factors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
